It's become abundantly clear this week that the message of the War Child compilation HELP(2) , a sequel to an illustrious compilation from '95, apparently still needs to be heard: no child should be part of a war. Some of the artists on this compilation have been quite outspoken in their activism in recent years: Grian Chatten , Damon Albarn , and Kae Tempest join forces on "Flags," and Chatten and his band Fontaines DC perform a rather blunt cover of Sinead O'Connor's "Black Boys on Mopeds." The list goes on. We hear Arctic Monkeys, Wet Leg, Cameron Winter, Pulp, The Last Dinner Party, BC, NR, Depeche Mode, Big Thief, Pulp, Sampha , a Magnetic Fields cover by Olivia Rodrigo (!), and far too many more.
