Anyone who has ever attended a Dutch indie festival might have seen Hiqpy perform multiple times. For years, there has been a lot of 'hype' surrounding the band, but for a long time, there wasn't even anything to stream, let alone an album. Slow Death of a Good Girl finally changes that. They don't completely shake off the comparison to Wolf Alice, but they certainly don't lack original indie-rock songs – with wonderfully sharp guitar work.
