It's not a requirement, but a good story goes a long way toward making an album. Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, the two founders of Squeeze , wrote the lyrics for Trixies back in 1974, when they were 19 and 16, respectively. It took the English rock band over fifty years to figure out how to record that album. Or rather, for decades they completely forgot about its existence. It turned out to be a beautiful experiment with, surprisingly, a very strong result.
