Out of nowhere, Dove Ellis suddenly became a sensation. This isn't surprising, as a whole new generation is now captivated by the late Jeff Buckley. Like Buckley, Ellis writes soulful ballads that sound as if they have always existed (although his peculiar voice sometimes sounds more like Thom Yorke or Cameron Winter). The fact that we actually know little about the Irish Ellis doesn't matter: you can truly make yourself at home in the exquisitely arranged Blizzard.
