We Want Waan , Yeah? Who is Waan? So? Well, Waan is the new project from Leiden saxophonist Bart Wirtz. As you might expect from Wirtz, what is essentially jazz frequently takes unexpected electronic turns. Hip-hop, kraut, and house are all mixed in. It's often reminiscent of the great pioneers of the recent London jazz explosion (Yussef Kamaal, Moses Boyd). We want Waan!
