General Promotion Conditions

Applicability

These General Promotion Terms and Conditions apply to every promotional game of chance and every competition and competition (hereinafter referred to as: 'Promotion') offered by Velvet Music. It will be stated on the website for each promotion if additional conditions for participation apply. If specific rules are drawn up for a promotion, those rules will be considered supplementary to these General Promotion Terms and Conditions.

Participation period

A participant can participate in a Promotion during the promotional period. This promotional period is stated with the promotion. Velvet Music reserves the right to terminate or extend a promotion early. Any change to the promotional period will be announced publicly.

Participation

For each promotion, the website will state how you can participate in the promotion. You can play once per action. If a participant in a promotion is younger than 16 years of age, confirmation must be obtained from his or her parent or guardian to participate in the relevant promotion. Velvet Music will ask for confirmation of this permission.

Prices

For each promotion it will be indicated which and how many prizes can be won. The prize will be awarded as is. Velvet Music is not liable for any visible or hidden defects in the prize nor for any damage upon delivery (shipping) of the prize. A prize to be won is strictly personal and non-transferable. A prize cannot be exchanged for money, goods and/or services.

Determination of the winners

For each promotion, the winners will be selected by an independent person or computer program who will randomly draw the winners. There will be one draw per promotion, unless stated otherwise.

Announcement of winners

The winners will receive notification of the prize won by e-mail or telephone at the correspondence address, e-mail address or telephone number provided by the participant. Correspondence cannot be entered into about the results. Within a few weeks, the prize won will be sent to the winner by post or e-mail or, if this is included in the promotion conditions or if this is necessary given the nature of the promotion and/or the prize, it will be personally handed over to the winner. . If the winner does not accept the prize within three months, his right to return will lapse. Under no circumstances can Velvet Music be held responsible for the participant providing an incorrect telephone number, e-mail or home address.
Participants who do not win a prize will not be informed about this.

Exclusion from participation

Employees of Velvet Music and anyone directly or indirectly involved in the promotion in an organizational sense are excluded from participation. Velvet Music is entitled to exclude participants from participation at any time without giving a reason. Velvet Music can at any time disqualify a participant and/or exclude him from participation if the participant in any way violates the General Promotion Terms and Conditions, specific conditions associated with the promotion, or otherwise acts unlawfully towards Velvet Music or third parties. Participants with a postal address outside the Netherlands are excluded from participation. Participants under the age of 16 who do not have permission from their parent or guardian are also not entitled to participate in a promotion.

Liability

Velvet Music, Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift Productions, Inc., Firefly Entertainment, Inc., and their affiliates are not liable for any damages resulting from participants/winners' use of any prize provided by Velvet Music, unless Velvet Music is liable on the basis of the provisions regarding product liability as referred to in Article 6:185 et seq. of the Dutch Civil Code. In addition, any printing, spelling, typesetting or other such errors in material and/or programs of any nature made public by Velvet Music, Velvet Music, Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift Productions, Inc., Firefly Entertainment , Inc., and their subsidiaries cannot be enforced and cannot in any way create an obligation for Velvet Music.

Adjustment of Promotional Conditions

Velvet Music reserves the right to change the General Promotion Terms and Conditions and the conditions of the specific promotion, without prior notice or further notice afterwards. A revised version of the terms and conditions will be posted on Velvet Music as soon as possible, stating the date of change or otherwise communicated.

Privacy

Velvet Music handles personal data with care and acts in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as: 'GDPR'). Velvet Music's current privacy policy can be consulted here. By participating, the participant acknowledges that he is aware of the processing of personal data for the implementation of the promotion and the awarding of the prize and agrees to Velvet Music's privacy policy.
