Is Anna von Hauswolff pop? Well, yes, if you squint a little. Her critical breakthrough album, All Thoughts Fly , was full of minimalist drone music. Compared to that, this is indeed just like Brat— Or perhaps Hounds of Love. This is towering, overwhelming art rock, a mishmash of styles (jazz, ambient, noise) that converges under Von Hauswolff's ambitious banner. Iggy Pop, among others, makes a special guest appearance.
