'A Living Commodity' is the debut album by Brighton's Egyptian Blue. Egyptian Blue fits in seamlessly with the new post-punk sound of, for example, Fontaines DC and IDLES. IDLES frontman Joe Talbot called Egyptian Blue 'Fucking Sick' , to use some foul language as a recommendation. The abrasive riffs of Egyptian Blue achieve a hypnotic power through brutal repetition, while their rhythm section produces tight, nervous energy and intense post-punk grooves in equal measure.
