Henny Vrienten was a composer, guitarist, bassist, pianist and singer. He became known to the general public as the lead singer and bassist of Doe Maar.
In 1991 he released his third solo album Mijn Hart Slaapt Nooit , including the singles "Het Scharrelvarken" and "Zonnebril". Various guest musicians contribute to the album, such as Boudewijn De Groot, Jan Akkerman and Joost Belinfante.
My Heart Sleeps Never is available for the first time on vinyl and contains a 4-page booklet with photos and lyrics. This is a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on transparent red colored vinyl.
