For a pop record, the songs of French singer Oklou seem to explode in reverse. A hit like "Harvest Sky" doesn't demand your attention, but gently invites you in. You can barely hear her through her whispers and French accent at times. But there are definitely plenty of hits on there , especially for fans of Caroline Polachek, EUSEXUA Afterglow , and... ambient music!
