It's been an eternity since siblings Dreijer pulled the plug on their joint electropop project The Knife. So, the solo debut of Olof Dreijer, Loud Bloom, can't even be called 'long-awaited' – rather, it's a very pleasant surprise. The psychedelic approach of The Knife is recognizable here too, but it comes with a lot more sunshine: we hear cumbia, kuduro, dancehall, and techno. It's cheerful and danceable through and through.
