After a seven-year hiatus, the Dewaele brothers return with All Systems Are Lying , a brand-new studio album from Soulwax. The Ghent-based pioneers, known for blurring the lines between rock and electronica, present an experimental work that perfectly captures the zeitgeist. Recorded at their DEEWEE studio, the album features modular synthesizers, live drums, and distorted vocals and was billed as "a rock album without electric guitars"—a fitting description of their innovative approach.
Soulwax's sound is an energetic blend of dance and electronica, laced with influences from dance-punk, electro, and synth-pop.
