Many singers in the Irish folk scene (Lankum, John Francis Flynn, Lisa O'Neill) can really pack a punch, but Ye Vagabonds are handsome lads who also sing beautifully. It almost sounds Scandinavian at times. Hygge! Yet, it was a living room in Galway where the group performed. Recorded All Tied Together with producer Philip Weinrobe, who also provided the warm, crystal-clear sound of the latest albums by Adrianne Lenker, Billie Marten, and Kings of Convenience, it truly enhances the brothers' harmonies.
